Welcome to Grandvalira - Soldeu 2012

Andorra and Grandvalira are pleased to welcome you to the Audi FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup Soldeu 2012. We hope that your stay in our country throughout the coverage of the event will be as enjoyable as possible.

The event’s Organizing Committee has made every effort to guarantee the best working conditions and to cover all your needs.

The main press center is located in the Sport Hotel Village (Soldeu) tower I. From the Press Room you can observe the competition stadium. In addition, the room has television screens so that you can follow the competition live.

Accreditations

Members of the press can request their accreditation via the form on this website.

  Accredited journalists can collect their passes in the accreditations centre located in Hotels Piolets Park & Spa (Soldeu) from 6th to 10th February from 8am to 20pm. And 11 and 12 February 8h to 16h. The photo and TV wristbands will be given out in the coordination meeting for photographers and broadcasters with accredited rights.

How to get to Andorra

The 2012 Soldeu Audi FIS Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup Organizing Committee offers a transport service for media from Barcelona – El Prat Airport to Soldeu (Andorra).

PARKING

Els Bassers (Soldeu)

Attention! During competition days, parking will be completely banned in Grandvalira-Soldeu for all 2 and 4 wheeled vehicles not accredited by the organizing committee. Members of the press must have their vehicles accredited for parking in Els Bassers (Soldeu). Parking spots are limited.

Press centre

The press centre is located in the Sport Hotel Village (Soldeu) tower I. The Press Room has all the necessary elements so that you can carry out your work, and also has rest areas and catering service.  The press centre will remain will be open on February 9 to 20:30 am and 15pm on 10, 11 and 12 February, from 8:30 to 20:30, without interruption.   From the press room terrace, located at the foot of the slope, the Avet slope can be easily observed.

Additionally, the press room is some 300 meters from the captains’ meeting room and a few meters from the Conference Room, where press conferences will take place (Grandalla room, Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa).
