Practical information for the teams

The Race Office is located at the hotel Ahotels Piolet Park & Spa (Soldeu main road). Upon arriving in Andorra, teams can collect all the information on accommodation, training and competition at the Office.

Transport for teams

The Organising Committee of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Women Soldeu 2012 provide free transport from Barcelona Airport to Soldeu (Andorra).

Car rental

Avis, 4,800 rental points. Avis takes you from your railway station, airport or city straight to the slopes.

Renting with Avis is the best way to get the most out of your ski trip. Travel safely and comfortably, and have more time to ski along the Grandvalira slopes. This year don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the snow. If you make your Avis booking through the Grandvalira website, you will be given a preferential rate for your ski trip.

Acreditations

Accreditations will be handled at the Race Office upon the arrival of the teams in Andorra. Accreditations will be obligatory to access the training area, the race slope and the room reserved for competitors.

Accomodation and car park

Teams will lodge at the hotels listed below and located in Soldeu. In all hotels, teams will have a small room to store their skis at night. None of the hotels will have a skiroom.

Some hotels have private car parks and parking will also be allowed in the surroundings of the hotels, following the signs. The organisation will reserve some parking spaces for the teams’ vehicles at the foot of the Avet slope and in front of the Race Office. The organisation does not guarantee that the parking spaces are covered.

Skirooms

Skirooms for all teams will be open from 8th to 12th February 2012 twenty-four hours a day (round the clock security). They are located in the garage of the Hotel Parador Canaro, between Soldeu and El Tarter, 1 km from the centre of Soldeu. Teams can access the garage with their own vehicles to offload equipment, but long-stay parking of vehicles will not be allowed in this garage.
